This is a memorial fund in honor of Heidi M. Brand, who passed away on May 26th, 2011, that will benefit the special needs individuals of Gillespie and surrounding areas.
Heidi grew up in Gillespie and was the daughter of Gerald and Sandi Brand, formerly of Gillespie. Heidi was a person with special needs dedicated to the fight for the rights of disabled citizens.
Heidi served on the panel of numerous groups in Springfield, Illinois to protect and promote the rights of the disabled.
